Hello, I'm Oscar.

I'm a product designer who enjoys solving real problems at the core of users and creating products that make people’s lives easier. I've worked on product teams across startups, FinTech, EdTech, and wellness platforms. I also recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in HCI.

I'm also expanding my workflow with AI, using MCP to integrate Figma with tools like Cursor for automated prototyping and iteration to improve my design process. Above all, I hope to use my unique perspective to make design simpler, more engaging, and more enjoyable all while we bring more complex ideas to life.

Why design?

I’ve always loved exploring different creative mediums, but for a long time I only understood them at the aesthetic surface level. My first class at UW really taught me to understand what design is, especially the “why” behind every click and interaction. It taught me to empathize with users, think creatively, and understand how even the smallest detail shapes an experience. That spark pushed me to explore design from new perspectives and find ways to make technology feel easier for people.
